"A ChocolArt Affaire" is an annual event which was created 7 years ago, to provide funding to Douglas County Early Intervention & Early Childhood Special Education Programs. It provides funding to give parents of Early Intervention students an opportunity to attend educational workshops that help them learn more about their child's disability. It is a county wide program that provides therapy & educational services to children age's birth to 5 years old that have special needs.
Funds may also be used to purchase specialized classroom equipment geared toward specific disabilities.
It is wonderful opportunity to really make a difference in the life of a child and their family!
