Recently, other websites are selling rose petals by the pound. These are fresh petals which weigh much more than the same quantity of freeze dried petals.
The weight of freeze dried petals can vary a great deal depending on where they are stored...if stored in a controlled, dry location, which is how we store them, they weigh much less than if stored in a place with humidity...the petals will absorb the humidity making them heavier.
That is why we offer our petals by volume rather than weight. So you know you are getting what you pay for!
